Recorded NRPN midi controller data

Post by Rotund » Mon Dec 12, 2016 8:18 am

I've attached an image of what I get when I tweak and record the filter cutoff on my OB-6. The 2nd controller lane down is the filter cutoff. The one with the erratic activity. That is not what I recorded. All I did was a smooth sweep from minimum to maximum and back. The controller lane graphic is impossible to edit and sometimes causes audible glitches. Is this normal? Is there a preference somewhere to make this work in a usable form? If I set the OB-6 to transmit CCs it all works as expected. Except half of the OB-6 interface uses NRPNs and doesn't transmit CCs.

What gives? What happens next?
