Does it freeze after loading, or during loading a MixConsole?
These freezings are very often plug-ins related (even if you say, you are using the same plug-ins in another software). Sometimes, it helps to open the project on another machine (very often without the plug-ins), re-save it. Then, you are often able to open it back on your studio machine.
