on|off for the midimodules based on midi note commands

Post by roel » Sat Apr 26, 2014 6:12 pm

Hey,

It would be definitly an improvement if the on|off button of the midi-modules could be assigned|alligned to the key-switches. This would allow the users to have immediate control over the variations of f.e. the midi player.

If you are interested in an example you can download it here:
download: https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=9e94c303 ... 283%211425

Take the bonga wonga.vstsound.

This is a drumkit with a midi player on each of the samples.
The variations trigger different alterations of pitch and speed from the recorded midi-data.
A minor niggle is that i have to assign the modwheel to switch the module on or off or i will loose the normal playback functionality.
It would be far more convenient if the keyswitch could:
a) select the variation
b) switch the midi player on for the time the keyswitch is "note on"
That would create some very funky additional functionality to the normal sample playback.

kind regards,
R.
