32BIT PLUGIN BRIDGE PETITION. Please sign.

I think we can safely assume that 32 bit plugin support in Cubase has seized to exist? And rightfully so! It’s time to move on. And if you happen to use an old plugin you can’t live without there’s always JBrige? And if JBridge doesn’t work you could always install an older version of Cubase that still supports this? Either way, I don’t think it’s very productive to keep asking for 32 bit support for plugins? And there’s a legitimate technical reason for this. 32 bit applications can only access up to 4GB of RAM memory. I could go into lots of more details here explaining why this is a bad idea but it’s important to know that 32bit applications can seriously degrade an application that otherwise happily operates under 64 bit?

So I would advise everyone to go look for alternatives? Either the 2 options I showed you or something else? Just don’t expect Steinberg to implement 32 bit for plugins support anymore? It’s not going to happen!
