HELP! Sequel won't let me add a beat track

Post by jasee737 » Thu Mar 05, 2015 8:47 pm

Hi guys,

I'm new to this software and want to start creating my own drum loops which I assume is accessible via Add Track>Beats then I can edit everything from there. The problem is that it won't let me click on the 'Beat' tab when I try to add a track. It's greyed out...

Any help on this would be much appreciated!

Cheers

Hi and welcome,

Did you create an Empty Beat track? By "Beat", do you mean the virtual pad?

No sound is probably loaded. Click to "No Preset" in the lower part of Sequel, and select the sound set you want to use, from presets.
