Hi
has anyone had any experience with Intel motherboards to be used for running Cubase ?
I hear of the other makes ut never intel.
Are they even offering consumer mainboards anymore?
I always used intel mobo’s in the past, they were rock solid but was usually behind in terms of features.
I have been using quality ASUS boards for the last 8 years now, and havn´t had any problems.
Buying a high quality mobo really helps with compatibility (USB etc) and real time performance (drivers etc) in my experience.
I have running myself mainboards from Intel and they have always been rock solid and my first recommendation. But since a couple of years they have stopped producing boards - at least under their own label.
I can recommend Supermicro and Fujitsu’s Mainboards. It’s definitely worth a try.
