Installing across hard drives

Post by RYNDW » Thu Jul 12, 2018 11:51 pm

Hello all, apologies if this topic is misplaced; wasn't sure whether to class it as a software or hardware question.

Basically, a few features (audio processes like pitch shift and reverse) on my installation seem to be bugged and won't work no matter what I try, also my Hard drive/pathways are a bit of a mess, so I figure a reinstall is my only option left. Which brings me to my main question; is it possible to install cubase across hard drives, i.e. have the software on my SSD and the bulk files/storage on my HDD?

If it's relevant, my current setup:

Cubase 8
Windows 7 Home Premium (x64)
Intel i5-6600K CPU
16GB Ram
Boot Drive: 120GB SSD
Storage: 2TB HDD

Cheers!
