Hi,
I have a older version of cubase (5) and i am asking myself if it will work with a new Behringer U-Phoria UMC1820 USB audio interface.
I want to playback 6 analog mono channels and 1 stereo that will run into a mixing console.
I run a vst instrument project on a windows 7 32bit DAW with 3.25 of memory and the asio4all driver.
Will a audio interface increase or decrease the CPU load ? or use more or less RAM memory ?
Because i am sometimes on the limit of what my DAW can handle, in RAM or CPU load.
CPU load will not be a major problem, i can increase buffer size what i sometimes do for good playback.
