With the release of Cubase Pro 9 we also released version 4 of VST Connect Pro and VST Connect SE.
The biggest news is that VST Connect is now connected to your MySteinberg account. You can log in and manage your contacts directly in VST Connect, search for collaborators in the VST Cloud database and invite new users. Connecting to other users can now be done with just a click without entering the connection key anymore. If you already use VST Transit the whole interface will look familiar to you.
We have also added some smaller improvements to VST Connect:

It is now possible to record a dry signal from the performer, even if VST effects were loaded in the VST Connect Performer app. This is great if you are recording vocals with some compression and reverb or guitars with a virtual amp simulation but you want to keep the freedom to alter the effects later on.

You will find a new DIM button in the upper left corner that controls the Control Room Dim function for the talkback microphone.

The channel reverb send fader have been optimised.
