effects question

Post by Dionysis » Sat Nov 11, 2017 11:48 pm

Suppose I insert an effect, e.g. a reverb to an audio channel. Can I have the resulting effect on itself (withouth the original audio) as a separate track? I.e. only the result of the effect without the original audio (so that I can treat it independenty of the audio).

If you want it on a separate track then you add an FX or Group track and use a send from the original track to that one.

Just thought of a way to do it: turn the effect mix to 100% and export the channel. That way I will have the result of the effect as a separate audio file.
