Learn/Record Process - Apply Process

Post by ResonantMind » Sun Nov 20, 2016 9:02 pm

It would be great if there were particular instances where a process could be learned/recorded and then repeated.

Tom Hits as an example:

-I choose my range selection tool
*Activate Learn/Record Process*
-I select a Tom Hit, just before the transient, and leave some tail.
-'Split range'
-reduce by 4db
-add a short fade in, add a medium concave fade out
-shorten the event end by a small amount
-'quantize'
*Deactivate learn process*

Now I can copy this process to all the other tom hits.

Second part of this idea, is actually saving and storing these processes and having them be able to have hotkey assignments. It's similar to macros, but sometimes macros have problems or limitations. Having this be built in a little more directly would be useful.
