It would be nice to got the feature, that is availible to got a command under the Audio-menu, to directly lay the Pre-Recorded Audio on the Audio-track, and then for example afterwards the project cursor.
Until now you only get this Pre-Recorded Audio, when you following record some Audio to the related audio-track(s) and then
pull on the left side of the now recorded viewable audio-clip to get this prior recorded Audio with the following Record as an whole Audio-clip or better said -file.
This is very inconvenient. i think it would be very useful to got a Command for right doing this.
For MIDI this is already given, with the “Retrospective MIDI Record”-Command [Shift]-Num [*]under Transport-Menu.
