I am using Cubase SE from like 10 years ago and I want to be able to use C8.5 in a live situation,but it is not practical and here is why…
When playing live in a band situation we use Cubase SE to control midi lights, midi fx, and play back any auxiliary tracks which is GREAT! I load up the projects in the order of the set and then I simply advance to the next song/project using a midi controller to close the current project and when I do, Cubase SE goes right to the next song. However since version C4 (I believe) now when I try to use Cubase in this way, I get an annoying prompt to “Do You Want to Activate Current Project” and in a live situation having to take the time to select this option is just not practical…so PLEASE!!!.. remove this function so that we can continue to use Cubase with newer hardware and OS systems…
