I am experiencing the same problem on two different computers.
It occurs on my Macbook Pro with macOS Sierra 10.12.2 as well.
Hard to believe I’m the only one experiencing this… It happens quite often on my computers.
I have installed Cubase 8.5 on both computers with the same installation file from steinberg.net
