Hello, I have cubase 8 and am new to MIDI.It records with no issue. However, when I play the keyboard through MIDI, it will turn down other tracks, pan other tracks etc. I have read the manual and googled around but cannot find a fix for this or I’m too naive to know what I’m doing. Any thoughts?

Open Devices > Device Setup. Make sure, there is no Generic Remote Device in the Remote Devices folder. If there is any, remove it or at least set the MIDI Input to None. Same for all Quick Controls options.
