As a quick update to an old thread – in case anyone missed it, Steinberg has just (finally) released the new video engine for Nuendo 7 – which is fulfilling an old promise. Happy they have done that, and hoping that means they will also do so for Cubase 8.5. If they do that for the old version of Cubase, I will be among the first critics to say they are working to regain their integrity.
