If you are rude, Transit makes C10 crash

Post by karel broekhuis » Wed Mar 06, 2019 12:47 pm

I could reproduce several times:
1. Select project in VST Transit inside Cubase
2. Select friend in project
3. Select remove friend from project
4. Appears a pop up window to write a farewell note. If you don't: Cubase crashes. After restart the friend is gone
If you type anything at all: no problems.
Windows 10, Dorico Pro 3, Cubase Pro 10, VST Transit Go, VST Connect Pro, Wavelab 10, Cubasis, VST Connect Performer, Nuendo 10. Always latest update.

Hi Karel,

hm. I've tried to reproduce it. No luck. Any more hints?

Thanx,
Michael.

Hi Michael,
No extra information, apart from the fact that it "only" goes wrong about 80% of the time. It is no showstopper for me. Just curious.
Rgds,
Karel

... we've finally found the crash and could fix it. We hope to release a new version soon!

See you,
Michael.

Hi ,

We have the same problems. In the start transit works fine (first 3 projects), but now cubase 10 crash the whole time when i open transit and log in.
Have wrote steinberg support with an error log and waiting for an answer.

I use a macbook pro with high sierra 10.13.6.

We use a payment version of transit. Hope steinberg has an fix for this. Let me know if some one has some suggestions that we can try.

grtz, pascal
