Dynamic alignment

Postby T Earl » Thu Apr 13, 2017 1:55 pm

Hi Folks,

I apologise if this subject has already been discussed, I could only find threads about horizontal alignment however my issue is (see below) hairpins aligning next to each other. Is there a tool or knack to get these hairpins all in line with each other without the obvious nudges and adjustments in Engrave mode?

Cheers,
Tom

Dorico will align such hairpins and other immediate dynamics together at the same vertical position if they are in the same group. At the moment you can't control directly which dynamics end up in the same group: Dorico makes these decisions on its own when you create abutting dynamics, for example. But the forthcoming update will provide a means to do this by selecting a bunch of dynamics and choosing to group them yourself, at which point they will be aligned together.

That's brilliant news! Cheers Daniel :)
