Technique markings

Postby mikhail » Fri Apr 14, 2017 2:04 pm

I understand we have to use SHIFT+x to write playing techniques not included in the (yet comprehensive) list. I use a lot of divisi markings and player id (like 1.,3.,etc.).

Is there a way to choose a fixed distance from the staff for that kind of text ? I'd like to get it closer to the staff, especially when working on orchestral scores to be printed on A4 sheets of paper.

For the moment, I adjust each occurrence in Engraving mode but it is a tedious process.

Any idea ?

There is a setting for text in general in Engraving Options/Text ...
Cubase Pro 9.0.20/VEP 6 network - Dorico 1.1 - Finale 2012c [and 25.3] (user since V1 (1988)) - Notation Composer 3.0.6 - on Windows 7. Hauptwerk and too many sound libraries. [evaluating NotePerformer 2.0.2]
