Improper rendering of font diacritics

Post by drukqs » Sun Aug 27, 2017 8:10 pm

Hi all,

I've recently encountered a puzzling bug. When trying to input text (lyrics, etc.), some lower diacritics are not spaced correctly.

I've experimented with various fonts including those at specially designed for International Phonetic Alphabet support, but all with the same results.

Edit: Here's the pasted text, if you'd like to try.

Thanks for reporting this, Ben. I can reproduce the problem, and I've not been able to come up with any kind of workaround as yet. I suspect this is a bug in the font shaping engine used by the Qt framework that Dorico is built upon.
