Flipping a slur in score and part

Post by LAE » Wed Sep 13, 2017 7:12 pm

Hello,

subject says it all. How can I flip a slur in the score and have it automatically appear in the part?

When I am trying, I have to flip it in both places. IMO the part normally follows the score in those matters. It would be a waste of time to have to do the edit twice, especially in a very big score.

You can't yet. They are aware, as they are also aware of the discontent in this area. There are a variety of property panels and edits that don't make it to the part layouts. In some cases, such as enharmonics, it is likely by design as it is a sticky issue with transposing instruments; but for other things such as flipping slurs, or changing slur types, it is indeed an unfortunate situation until they find a good fix.
