Drone at F#0 every time I start playback

Post by Nathnainiel » Tue Oct 10, 2017 12:48 pm

Hi again!

Every time I start playback I get a drone at F#0, unless I choose a patch that doesn't make any sound at that note. It disappears if I push that note in the Halion GUI. I tried this with viola and violin, same with both. How do I get rid of it?

Cheers,
Erik

That'll be a keyswitch that is playing instead of switching.
If you are using the default sound in HALion for the violin then in Play mode in the VST rack on the right hand side click on the little cog and choose HSO Violin Solo for the slot that contains the Violin.
If you have changed the sound in HALion for one that doesn't use key switches then either choose 'Default' or CC11 Dynamics.
