Rests in lower part

Post by Cherylhoad » Mon Nov 13, 2017 3:38 pm

Hello!

i am trying to get a full bar rest in the lower double bass part in the first bar (shown in image) but can't work out how to - all I can get is three minim rests. Any ideas? I want to show that the first bar is only the upper double basses....

Thank you!

Full bar rests are available in the right panel of write mode, with the bars. If you click on Insert Bar Rest sub-menu, you'll find an Insert Bar Rest button. All you have to do is enable your caret at the beginning of the first bar, put it on the right downstem voice (press V if it is already created, shift-V if it is not) and then press the Insert Bar Rest button.
Hope it helps !
