I guess you’ve discovered that the effects from the Aria player returns to Channel 1 in the Dorico mixer. So it’s a good idea leaving channel 1 (output 1/2) in the Aria player empty, otherwise that instrument plays back on the effect return channel in Dorico. (i.e. place the first instrument on channel 2, output 3/4).
