SOLVED: Komplete Kontrol and Maschine blacklisted. When reactivated Cubase does not start.

Post by jlrnyc » Thu May 03, 2018 4:37 pm

Hi all. I'm posting this for the benefit of anyone confronting the same issue I had.

I was on Sierra and I was holding off on upgrading as not everything in my setup was 100% tested under High Sierra.

After I exhausted all options I decided to install High Sierra and that solved the issue.

Be careful with those updates through Native Access. They have the potential to disrupt your system like they did to me.

From now on, I'll be making an image of my system before attempting any updates from NI.

Thanks!

Hi!

I have the same issue! My latest version of Komplete Kontrol app has been blacklisted on Cubase Pro 10.0.15 under high sierra.
Also I found that Komplete Kontrol slows down my entire Cubase and even freezes when I want to shut down the program. What do you suggest to do? Thanks 🙂
