Trying to run CB 9.5 Trial - going in circles with eLicenser!

Post by Nonlinear » Sat Jun 30, 2018 4:11 pm

I have the access code for CB 9.5 Trial that was emailed to me but when I try to add the access code it says, "A license of the same type you are trying to download is already stored on this eLicenser". There is no license for it on my eLicenser, CB 9.5 doesn't run and says, "license not found".

I have run eLicenser "maintenance", "memory cleanup", "license verification", etc. Still doesn't accept the demo access code.

See attached screenshots. What is the fix for this?

Wow - 2 weeks since I posted this and no reply? Steinberg support is really on top of things, eh?

OK then. No trial - no sale. Bye bye.

This forum isn't the place for official support. You can contact support directly through your MySteinberg:
https://www.steinberg.net/en/mysteinber ... ducts.html

If you live in the USA, you can also try contacting Chat Support:
https://www.steinberg.net/en/support/usa.html

If you've already tried Cubase Pro 9.5 in the past, you can't use the trial version of Cubase Pro 9.5 again using the same eLicenser. In that case you can try asking support if they can provide a trial extension, or wait until Cubase 10 comes out in a few months.
Every time someone says "it must be easy to add/fix", a programmer dies.

Cubase Pro and Wavelab Pro (latest), Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, MSI Z87-G45 GAMING, i5 4690k, GeForce GTX 760, almost every Steinberg plugin and expansion, Trilian, Komplete 10, etc etc etc etc
