It seems that if you have more than 50 VST loaded in Cubase (say Kontakt Instances), the DAW begins to behave very odd and much more slower than it should. It still works, but much worse.
It appears to be that this is due to a problem with how Cubase handles the virtual instruments.
My suggestion is: improve VST management in order to be able to handle as much VST instances as we need. The only limitation should be our computer.
Now we can activate and disable instrument tracks, but this is not very useful if cubase can’t handle more than 50…
