Cubase Crashed over 150 times!

Post by robertplatinum » Fri Jun 22, 2018 11:31 am

Here are some problem reports for the 150+ crashes that I have had in Cubase, I don't think the problem is with Cubase though any ideas on how to fix this? Also, I've sent these screenshots to softube.

Hi,

What did you do in Cubase before the crash?

Could you share the *.DMP file located in Documents/Steinberg/CrashDumps, please?

Hi. I just had the music playing. It doesn't always crash it just does so at odd times. Also, it crashes even when I've made no changes to the projects.
Thanks.

Could you share the crash dump?

Is it the same in Cubase Safe Start Mode (after trashing Cubase preferences)?

Martin is just asking you to upload the whole dump file so he can analyse it for you.

Hi,

I'm using internal Steinberg tool. There are other options – if you want to get a raw idea, where does it crash (in Cubase directly, or in some plug-in or an external component), you can use common Windows debugger, or VisualStudio. If it does crashes directly in Cubase, you cannot do this, without the internal Steinberg tool.

This is why did I ask you to share the *.dmp file.
