Constantly reassigning several same (make/model) midi controllers.

Post by logsplitter » Thu Dec 12, 2019 4:44 pm

I'm using three Akai LPK25 controllers, each one designated to a specific track with a specific vsti, and each one simply shows as LPK25, with no other identifying aspect. (for instance I use them as a three 'manual' organ (three keyboard) set up, each with specific sounds).

When I reopen Cubase, the LPK's are randomly assigned among the tracks that have Akai LPK25 assigned.

Is there any way to get Cubase to recognize a unit-specific characterization of each of the three devices?

Hi,

The MIDI Ports are provided by OS. I'm afraid OS mixes them up.
