Hi Matthias

Are Steinberg working on a fix to this problem? I'm not willing to upgrade Halion 5 at the moment.

Thanks.

Activated Halion 6 which was upgraded from H4 and have lost access to H3, H4. Still waiting on reply for H5 add-on license.

Would like to open previous projects using H3, H4 to prepare for H6 install as Im still wary of how H6 install will affect them but won't open correctly since H6 activation.

Mathias, can you help me out here with H5 add-on?

You guys are going to have to be a little proactive in the process. Matthias has been helping users out on a case by case basis....but you need to PM him. He states:
Please send me a PM with your name, support ticket number and eLic number and I will take care. Apologies for the inconvenience.
So far, everyone who has PM'd Matthias for the Add-On code has received a code from him.

Hi Gang

If I upgrade Halion 5 to Halion 6 how long does it take to get the Halion 5 license back?

Thanks.

So there is no guarantee we will be able to keep our legacy Halion licences?

That's the first example I've heard of someone being refused. I had to PM Matthias though but still got it. Why would they refuse?

The answer seems to be: as soon as you PM Matthias. While he may not be monitoring the forum over the weekend, most certainly he will, by the beginning of the workweek. In my case, Matthias responded within a minute after PM'ing him.

Musing posed the question: "Why would they refuse?" I have the same question. Here's another: Did you actually PM Matthias? If you did and were refused, why? I ask this because it may bring up an eligibility issue, of which we are unaware and may be of some value to others reading this thread.

Hi there,

It's going to be OK. I've talked to our support team about your case and you will get your H5 add-on license.
