multiple AXR4Ts' time clock source

Post by ultradust » Thu Aug 08, 2019 4:45 am

In a scenario where multiple AXR4Ts are daisy-chained, is it possible to set one of them to be the clock source for the others? The manual seems to indicate that an external word clock generator is desirable (or perhaps required) but I wanted to clarify.

Hmm.. thunderbolt carries digital clock, so this is *really* weird.. With my Apollos the first on the chain is the master and all the others slave perfectly, and is even said as such in the manual. I even slave my adat expanders of it with zero issues.

I am curious about the AXR4 and a nuendo turnkey integrated setup but there are so many unanswered questions I have.
iMac Pro 8 core, 64GB ram, Vega 56, OS 10.14.6, Motu Microlite, Apollo 8, Motif MoxF6, more midi synths :)
MBP 15", 4 core, 16GB ram, 750M, OS 10.14.6, On board headphone out.
