ASIO4ALL v2.12 or Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver ... with CI2

Post by surroundsound » Thu Dec 11, 2014 5:10 am

Hello.
:geek:

ASIO4ALL v2.12 or
Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver ... with CI2.

Which Driver should I be using with my CI2.

Attached screen shots showing Latency results when each Driver is used.

Obviously ASIO4ALL shows lower Latency.
But never know I could be doing something wrong.

Some System Specs below.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thank You.

Steinberg CI2 Audio Interface
Cubase Elements 6
32 Gig Ram
3.2 GHz Processor

You are using the Yamaha Driver Version 1.1
It is now Version 1.8.3
Try that .

Answer ;
Use the latest Yamaha driver for your OS ( inc. x32 or x64 as appropriate ) , and adjust the buffer size down in steps until you get drop outs then go one bigger .
