I’m getting strange errors while loading a registered version of z3ta+ version 2.1 in Cubase 6.05. This is the first time loading with 6.0x. I did not have this problem with version 5.1x
When I load the VST, I get a series of dialogs stating that z3ta+ can not find the bitmaps representing the knobs on the plug in.
The bitmaps that can not be found are:
C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Z3TA+ 2\Resources\Z3TA+ 2 - KNOB unipolar ALPHA.bmp
C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Z3TA+ 2\Resources\Z3TA+ 2 - KNOB blue unipolar focus.bmp
C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Z3TA+ 2\Resources\Z3TA+ 2 - KNOB unipolar ALPHA.bmp
I have validated that these files are located in the folder that the dialog box states where the files can not be found.
I am running Cubasee 6.0.5 32 bit on Windows XP SP 3
I have the latest version of z3ta+ 2.1 installed.
To replicate the error:
Create an Instrument Track in a new or existing project
Select z3ta+ 2 as the instrument
Select the Edit Instrument button in the Inspector
Close the 3 error dialog boxes
z3ta+ opens and notice that all the knobs are missing from the interface.
As the instrument tries to load, three dialogs will appear unable to find the files as above.
I have tried the following without any issues:
z3ta+ stand alone.
z3ta+ loaded in Ableton Live 8.2.6
z3ta+ loaded in vstHost 1.47 (double percision)
The instrument will load with any of the above with the knobs visible and no errors stating that the files can not be found.
