So I have my GA content on an external HD with a symbolic link on my main. I have no issues updating Logic X. The program identifies where to place the content via the symbolic link. It appears that with the Cubase 9.5.3 and the GA 4.2.50 updates this does not happen and I get a warning message.
Whats worse with the GA update the installer does not even give me a choice to to place the content on my external HD.
Question: Do Steinberg products not understand symbolic links?
