Uninstalling Native Instruments FM7 (Windows 10 64 bit)

Post by Tech-dance » Mon Aug 01, 2016 7:36 pm

I am of course running the excellent FM8 but have now decided to remove FM7 from Programs only to get the message by Wise Uninstall "Cannot open INSTALL.LOG file". What do I do from here?

Rename that file to anything else, and when you try to uninstall it will ask for that file. Rename it again to INSTALL.LOG, select it and it should work.
Every time someone says "it must be easy to add/fix", a programmer dies.

Cubase Pro and Wavelab Pro (latest), Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, MSI Z87-G45 GAMING, i5 4690k, GeForce GTX 760, almost every Steinberg plugin and expansion, Trilian, Komplete 10, etc etc etc etc
