Where are my VSTis?

Post by Simonhamilton80 » Sat Sep 24, 2016 7:14 pm

Hi all,

Upgraded from Cubase SX to 8.5.

Installing VSTi's never used to be an issue, they would install to the correct windows directory and be easilly found by pressing F11.

For some reason, (x86) I install my VSTi's and I can't see them from inside Cubase.

Do I have to physically choose the VSTi folder in the Cubase install?

Cheers.

Well, perhaps try what I've just found out. Open Plugin Manager, towards the bottom there is a refresh icon. Hit that button, and it will rescan your PC for all VST folders. You may need to restart Cubase afterwards.
