DMXiS midi learn not working properly

Post by hudson1 » Sat Jan 12, 2019 4:07 pm

Hey guys, this is my first post here! :)

I'll try to get straight to the point.
I use DMXiS VST plugin to controll my lights through MIDI. It worked flawlessly when I was in Cakewalk SONAR X3.
Now, I've just moved to Cubase PRO 10 and tried to the same thing with no results. :/

The way I work is:
1. Create an VST instrument track with DMXiS plugin
2. Create several MIDI tracks, each one assigned to one MIDI channel. In my case, each MIDI channel is related to one fixture in my rig.
3. On each track, use CC automation to control specific DMX channels in a giving fixture. So, CC 7 will control Dimmer, CC 93 will control Red and so on.
4. Then, on the DMXiS plugin, I will select a fader, press "LEARN" and change CC values, so each fader knows which CC will control it.

The problem is that DMXiS is only "Learning" the volume automation (CC 7). Every other CC I try to make it learn will fail.
Am I missing something here, since I'm a Cubase nubie?

Thanks a lot!

Is Read/Write enabled on the DMXIS plugin track?
