Reverbs

Post by Ambientdave » Wed May 22, 2019 12:03 pm

Hi :)

Fairly new to Cubase, but been discovering Cubase Pro 10 stock reverbs, REVelation,REVerence, etc
What would be a good recommendation of a reverb to use in my ambient styles of music?

I had a play with both, and hope to have a read up on these soon

Any advice would be appreciated :)

REVerence is excellent and can be loaded with 3rd party IRs easliy (i.e. http://www.samplicity.com/bricasti-m7-i ... responses/).
What reverb exactly contributes to your style - only you can know :-)

Yeah true, but there is a lot of choice as regards to presets (REVerence ) guess I will have to experiment more.

Thank you for the link to impulse responses too :)

Plenty of choice is the curse of our times. Too much options everywhere :-)

Anyway, I manage this by intuitively finding plugins or settings that work for a task or my taste and then go from there. Untill I get bored with it, then I have nearly endless space left to explore. Without even buying something new!
