Is it possible to audition sounds in GAO without loading the entire kit.
For example can you start with an empty kit and start looking for a bass drum
using a single pad working your way through bass drums until you find the one you want,
like NI’s battery 3 system. Hope I’ve made myself clear.

Hi,
You can use drag-and-drop for any audio region, used in Cubase Project. You can drag-and-drop it from Main window, same as from the Pool window. Drop it on the exact pad, you want to use.
So yes, you can pre-listen the file in the Cubase.
