I run CB 7.0.6 since it was released, with no problems.
Although I have not altered any hardware, the last couple of days when a project is on play back and (as usually) I press FILE/SAVE I get a terrible grzzzz noise.
If the project is on stop mode and I press save, no noise is present.

The situation is getting worst. I hear crackles even on play back. Unfortunately this happens only in CB, not in any other sound programs.
I re-install the sound card, optimized the PC for sound performance, tweaked the buffers size, etc but still nothing.
Any ideas or help will be appreciated.
