New Date format for renaming files

Hi!

Is it possible for me to define new date formats for renaming files during rendering, or is this a complicated thing?

I would like to add a @Date15@ with format 170321, i.e. with two digit year.

There is one with the format 20170321, but i would like to remove the initial two digits.
Where are these defined/configured?

If you speak about the naming scheme, we are currently limited to these formats:

Hi again!

Would it be possible to include an additional date format based on previous discussion some time in the future.

I really would like to have the format 180324 as a complement to 20180324.
And there is one for 18-03-24, so the only thing I miss is without the hyphens.

Friendly reminder regarding this proposal/request.

Haven’t seen it in recent updates and would really like this simple date format: 190427.

Can you tell me why you need this special option? (this is an unusual date format, not much readable)

Hi!

I name all my mix and master files with date suffix and as we already have formats like “2019-05-08” and “19-05-08”, I just prefer the somewhat shorter 190508 to save space and readability.

In my view a format including century is a little bit unnecessary as it will take som time before it to have a meaning. :slight_smile:
