The 18ms was for 2 instances close to each other that I happened to randomly catch. That’s why I did the original MIDI loopback test to conveniently exercise and compare more test recordings. Everything so far (including your posted results) suggest that the magnitude of the jitter is approximately the reported input latency of the audio interface - but who really knows.
