Dagrace, if you’re still finding that you’re having problems with periodically losing sound, that sounds like a driver configuration problem. Make sure that the option ‘Suspend audio device in the background’ is not enabled in Dorico’s Preferences dialog.
You might also want to try installing ASIO4ALL and choosing that instead of the Generic Low-latency ASIO Device in Edit > Device Setup to see if you have any more luck with that.
