Well, go figure, less minor of a bug than I thought. I happened to be revising and studying closely a print of the second screenshot and noticed that that first quarter rest actually tried to print greyscale. The purple must be sent to the printer because the rest is definitely not black like the noteheads. (I’m printing on a bw laser printer.) I don’t have a color printer to test printing to that. All I know is the rest did not print the way they normally do.
