C9.5 doesn't work, in C9 HS3 crashes C9

Hello everyone,
When I launch C9.5, nothing happen (it doesn’t launch at all). I can see it in eLicenser Control Center and at MySteinberg account as well. In eLicenser Control Center next to applications I have got info, for example "Halion Sonic 3 Steinberg, SeL but next to “Cubase Pro 9.5” I have got " Steinberg, Application-Instances;5. I don’t know what does it mean. After Launching C9 and then HS3 I got info “An exception occured. Save your work and restart your application. The exception was thrown because of the plug-in: Halion Sonic Controller”. Laptop Samsung, Intel i5, 8 GB RAM, Win 10 Pro. Here is log from \Steinberg\CrashDump:

Anybody is able to help? thx.

Hi,

The “Halion Sonic Controller” sounds familiar to me. Could you share (via Dropbox or similar) the source crashdump file, please?

By any chance, is there any Cubase 9.5 crashdump in the folder too?

Are your drivers and plugins up-to-date?

As to C 9.5 there is only what I posted, there is no dmp file(s). Drivers and plugins are up-to-date. I installed fresh full C 9.5 and the same HS3. I can’t find where the problem is. I’m still looking for. Thx for you response.

Where did you get the “Cubase9.5.exe Version 9.5.0 Build 55 - 30.11.2017 20:45” message from, please?

Common crashdump files are stored in Documents/Steinberg/crashdumps

I installed today HALion Sonic SE 3 in a laptop where I had Cubase Pro 9.0.30 installed, and I also got the same crash, with the “HALion Sonic Controller” message. It was working ON in other hosts. I ended up uninstalling it, and reinstalled the HALion Sonic version of Cubase. That solved the problem.
