Export Naming Scheme Fields: Add two addendum fields

Post by ResonantMind » Tue Oct 23, 2018 1:16 am

Would be great to have some addendum that can be inserted anywhere in the naming field.

This has been on my 'Annual Request List' for prox. 10 years.

They implemented my request in part (thanks) by doing the 'Naming Scheme', but the original request asked that power users be able to specify formulae to create their own fave naming scheme. The system I suggested was Regular Expressions which are common all over the web.

I'm not 'patient'. I'm welded at the hip to Cubase. Basically, my entire professional life has been done in Cubase. I've tried moving to other DAWs but it's been too painful.

MOST of the dozens of 'Annual Requests' I have are teeny, tiny practical things that I come to find have already been done in more agile platforms like Reaper. Every year I see Cubase getting new 'sexy' features--most of which I never use and the ones I -do- need receding further into the distance. Drives me nuts if I think about it.

So I try not to think about it. :D
