I agree with the sentiments expressed here. I acted upon it! One month ago I switched to Logic Pro X for $259 as opposed to upgrading from Cubase Pro 8.5 for $300. I actually have been amazed at the depth of features and how intuitive the software has been - it is nothing like Gargage Band. I won’t be looking back
