Dear Forum,
After the update to Cubase Artist 8.0.30 I have troubles with some of my VSTplugins/instruments. The Plugins are available in the menus but they don’t load upon clicking on it. The frame of the slot appears red instead.
This is the case for: Voxengo Curve EQ, Guitar Rig 5 Free, Groove Agent SE (and some others that all worked before the update).
I am thankful for suggestions.
My System:
Windows 7 32 bit, Cubase Artist 8.0.30.
I don’t know if you still have a problem, but I’ve just fixed the issue with the Voxengo Curve EQ.
Find where Cubase is installed ( in my version of Windows 10 it is “c:\program files\steinberg\cubase 8.5” ) … then find the folder called “VST3”.
Inside that folder you’ll find the file “CurveEQ.vst3”. Move it somewhere harmless ( you might need it again one day ! ).
It seems that Artist installs it even though there is no licence for it in Artist ( you have to buy the full version ).
