It would be so useful to see the transport bar at the bottom of the key editor. Something like this...

I like this idea!
One thing you can try is go to the Transport menu at the top of the screen and select Transport Panel. This will make another transport panel appear that you can place near the bottom of the screen (You have to move it by clicking on the colored border). Then just adjust the size of the key editor a bit so you aren't covering anything and you should be good to go. Hope this helps.

yes of course, but why not at the bottom of the list editor too (or any other editor)?
