Guitar volume over metronome volume - cannot hear the metronome very well

Post by hAtul » Mon Sep 16, 2019 11:52 am

I am new to Cubase!
I started recording something (guitar, high gain) and just cannot hear the metronome very well.
I metronome volume is set to max (127).
I do hear it, but not very well. The guitar just eats it all up.
Any suggestions on how to handle this kind of situation?

Hi and welcome,

If you are using Control Room, you can increase the Click volume there.

In Transport > Metronome Setup > Click Sounds, you can also choose a different Audio sound, if this typical Cubase sound doesn't fit to you.

That's exactly what I did, max volume is 127.
The guitar sound is outputted directly from my audio interface, should I channel it to only cubase or something like that?
